Foreign Business Risk Briefing Series Launched
Inaugural events held in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia

Klink & Co., Inc. a leader in global risk consulting, has launched the Foreign Business Risk & Requirement Series - a collection of executive briefings designed to help corporations identify, understand and avoid violating U.S. and foreign anti-corruption regulations.

The inaugural briefing, FCPA & Beyond - Assessing Risk & Defining Requirements, will be presented in Pittsburgh on May 27th. It will specifically address the impact of the latest FCPA enforcement trends on U.S. corporations working overseas. It will also review the impact of the growing number of local anti-corruption regulations that various governments and international organizations are putting into place.

Klink & Co., Inc. will conduct a second FCPA & Beyond briefing in Philadelphia on June 9, 2010. Both briefings will be presented by company President Jeffrey Klink and Vice President David Nolan.

"Anti-corruption enforcement in the U.S. and overseas is reaching unprecedented levels," explained Klink. "Corporations not only need to understand potential financial penalties and executive liability, but they must also proactively work to educate their employees and put effective policies and audit programs in place. Hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and legal fees, and lengthy jail terms are probabilities for the non-compliant."

The Pittsburgh and Philadelphia briefings are expected to draw senior executives from area corporations in both cities. Attendees will also receive Klink's first annual Foreign Risk and Assessment Review, which will provide additional statistical support and insights on the shifting landscape in anti corruption regulations and trends.

The series will continue later this year in other cities throughout the U.S. and potentially overseas. "Our aim is to provide on ongoing stream of information and briefings that deal with the latest developments, issues and proactive solutions regarding global business risk. This is critical to the well being of our clients and associates," added Nolan.
